Joining the win2000 list
The Win2000 list is the primary forum at the University of Michigan for the discussion of Windows administration issues. The venerable "nt-admins" list is now an alias for the win2000 list, which is hosted on the University of Michigan List Server. The U-M Online Campus Directory points to the list (finger win2000@umich.edu), but does not contain the membership information. One of the advantages of hosting the list on the U-M list server is that the contents are archived. To join the list, you will need a U-M uniqname and Kerberos password. Once you are a member, your password is optional.
Note that the Win2000 list is not specifically for Windows 2000 issues, but rather for all Windows issues, both desktop and server, from Windows 2000 on.
