The University of Michigan has a Academic Agreement for Education (ALA) with Novell.
The ALA is an umbrella licensing program designed to help us spend less time on
software acquisition and more time focusing on our work. The following Novell products are covered under this agreement:

This agreement also allows the University departments to
purchase other Novell products from the Academic License
Agreement (ALA) price list at a
