MyServer Responsibilities

Last Updated: February 24, 2004

APPENDIX B

MyServer Responsibilities

MyServer is a service offered by ITD-LAN/NOS/Groupware Services (ITD-LNGS) providing centralized file and print services on NetWare. ITD-LNGS provides file space on fault-tolerant NetWare servers while allowing department staff to create and manage user access to the file space. The MyServer servers are located on a 100MB switched network at the Arbor Lakes Data Center in a secure and conditioned space. If a unit wishes to use the service but does not have the expertise to perform the Department responsibilities, they should contact myserver.support@umich.edu to discuss options.
