New Phone Numbers and Dialing Patterns for University Housing
==============================================
Telephone numbers for students living in University Housing Residence
Halls and Northwood Single Student Housing have changed. The phone
numbers in these locations are now in the 565 exchange. The 565 exchange
is a campus exchange, but it requires a different dialing pattern than
other campus exchanges. This is because there is already another campus
exchange (615) that ends in a 5, making five-digit dialing to the new
exchange impossible.

VirusScan 8 for Windows Available
=========================
VirusScan 8 for Windows (antivirus software) was released by McAfee on
August 25, and the Virus Busters Team has created a U-M preconfigured
VirusScan installer. The Virus Busters recommend that all U-M users of
Windows NT4, 2000, XP, and 2003 Server upgrade to VirusScan 8.0 as soon
as possible.

recipients now have 200 MB mailboxes and 1 GB IFS home directories. MichNet
dial-in access is now free of charge. Students continue to receive 400 pages
of black-and-white printing at Campus Computing Sites per term, but the printing
