The new MCommunity Sponsor System has been in use at the ITCS Accounts Office for several weeks now. The system makes it easier for departments to sponsor university guests and to get them uniqnames and access to computing resources. The system allows the university to more fully include the many people whose relationship with the university falls outside the traditional categories of faculty, staff, student, and alumni.
Departmental sponsorship administrators will be given access to the new system in the coming weeks. In the meantime, departments can request sponsorships using the MCommunity Sponsorship Application online forms.
