To protect your privacy and security, ITCS recommends that you check your UMICH Kerberos password for security about once every six months.
When you change your clocks for the start of Daylight Saving Time on March 11, check your password by answering the questions in our Password Security Checklist.
Check Your Computer Clock
Daylight Saving Time is starting earlier this year than in years past, and computer operating system vendors have released patches for their operating systems to ensure that your computer displays the correct time. For details, see Computer Patches Needed for Extended Daylight Saving Time.
If your computer is set to automatically download patches and software updates, and it is set to automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time, your computer clock should make the change by itself. If, however, you need to reset your computer's clock, follow the appropriate steps below.
