Big Ten Channel Available on Campus
The Big Ten Channel is now available on campus. It is carried on Channel 39 on UMTV. UMTV is available in many campus buildings, including U-M residence halls. See the UMTV web page for details about UMTV.
In addition, the Big Ten Channel is available on UM IPTV (on the M Open Channel). UM IPTV lets you receive television programs on your computer on the U-M network. UM IPTV is part of the ongoing investigation of Internet Protocol (IP) television technology being conducted by ITCS. The Big Ten Channel showcases a wide array of sports, as well as original programming produced by the 11 conference institutions. It carries many of the games and events previously available only through syndication, providing greater exposure for these and other Big Ten sports.
