The following University of Michigan community members may purchase Microsoft software under the Microsoft Campus Agreement.
Registered students, doctoral candidates, and pre-candidates
Faculty
Emeriti faculty or emeriti staff with an office on campus
Regular staff (full or part-time)
Those ineligible to purchase Microsoft software under this agreement include:
Retired faculty and staff (unless emeriti and/or those having an office on campus)
Visiting faculty and visiting scholars
Temporary or contract staff
Note: GSRA, GSRI, GS-other students and "student staff" may make purchases because of their student status.
Alumni
Spouses or domestic partners of faculty/staff
Conference attendees
Executive Education attendees

Campus-licensed software is coordinated through Information Technology Central Services (ITCS) Software Licensing and Distribution.

ITCS Software Licensing and Distribution (SWLD) provides software for departmental computers.
Students, faculty, and staff can purchase software for their personal computers at the U-M Computer Showcase.
