File Services

  • Connected Network Backup Service
    A Windows workstation backup and disaster recovery service that employs technology from Connected Corporation.
  • File Transfer Software (SFTP)
    ITCS provides file transfer software for Windows and Macintosh computers through its Blue Disc download site.
  • IFS
    The Institutional File System (IFS) is a central file storage, sharing, and retrieval system using AFS software. See also the IFS FAQ.
  • IFS Backups Proposal (April 2006)
    ITCS is proposing a new backup schedule for IFS. This proposal is under review by ACSF (Academic Computing Support Fourm).
  • mFile
    The easiest way to access your IFS space, upload and download files, and change permissions on your folders is to do so via the web with mFile (see documentation).
  • MyServer
    MyServer is a service providing centralized file and print services on NetWare.
  • TSM Backup Service
    The Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) service provides networked backup of data on your server-level machines (such as application and file servers, server-side databases, and research data collections).
