E-Mail Configuration: Mulberry Manual Configuration
S4231 • April 2009

We recommend that you use the U-M preconfigured Mulberrry 3.1.6 if at all possible. If, however, you need to install Mulberry another way or if you need to change or check specific preferences, here are instructions for configuring v 3.1.6.

Attention Windows Users!

  • You need to have a version of MIT's Kerberos for Windows that supports Kerberos v5. (The ITS Mulberry installer installs MIT Kerberos for Windows v2.6.3.)
  • You need to have kerberos.dll from Mulberry. In the directory in which mulberry.exe is installed, look in the Plugins directory. You need kerberos.dll to be in the Plugins directory.
  • The ITS installer installs MulberryLauncher.exe. If you do not have that, you need to make certain that you have a Kerberos ticket-granting ticket (TGT) prior to launching Mulberry. You can get such a ticket by authenticating to Kerberos (open the Kerberos application and authenticate). We recommend that you use the ITS installer.
