EXCHANGE ACCOUNT? If your school, college, or administrative unit provides your e-mail through the ITS Exchange Service, please use iPhone or iPod Touch and the ITS Exchange Service.

Follow these steps if you can view your e-mail on the web by logging into either Maize or Blue Webmail.

1. On the Home screen, tap Mac Settings.

   

2. In the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

   

3. In the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen, tap Add Account.
   NOTE: If you have created other accounts on your device, you will see them listed here.

   

4. In the Add Account screen, tap Other.

   

5. In the Other screen, tap Add Mail Account.

   

6. In the New Account screen:

   

   1. enter your name as you want it to appear in the From field of your messages.

   2. enter your U-M e-mail address.

   3. enter your UMICH Kerberos password — the one you use with Wolverine Access.

   4. the Description field will automatically show your e-mail address. You may change it, if you prefer.

   5. tap Save.

7. If the Incoming Mail Server information (IMAP is recommended) does not automatically complete:

   

   1. in the Host Name field, enter mail.umich.edu.

   2. in the User Name field, enter your uniqname.

   3. enter your UMICH Kerberos password — the one you use with Wolverine Access.

   4. scroll up to view the Outgoing Mail Server section.

8. In the Outgoing Mail Server section:

   

   1. in the Host Name field, enter smtp.mail.umich.edu.

   2. tap Save.
