What if I can't remember my password?
You are in a unfortunate situation. Unlike most password-protected systems, there is no way to retrieve or reset a forgotten password.
You must reset your device to the factory settings. You will lose all data and any applications you've installed that are not stored on a memory card.
Your Exchange data is safe because it's stored on the Exchange server. You only need to reconfigure and sync your reset device with the server.
We highly recommend you only use a 4-digit PIN password and provide yourself a very good hint (but not the password, of course). The operating system makes entering 5 or more digit passwords difficult.
