Entourage FAQ: E-MailHow can I control spam?NOTE: We also recommend you visit the U-M Spam Busters website.The ITCS Exchange Service offers the Brightmail spam detection system, but you have to create a rule for it to work. If you have access to a Windows computer, we recommend you configure the rule in Outlook so that you're always protected regardless of how many computers you may use to access your Exchange account. You can, of course, configure the Brightmail rule in Entourage; but, if you use more than one Macintosh, you need to configure Entourage on each computer. IMPORTANT! Regardless of which program you used to create the rule, if you've already created it, make certain it is the first item in your list of rules for that program. The instructions show you how.
