Getting a Uniqname—
Alumni

1. Go to the Alumni Association's Get a Uniqname page.
2. On that page, click the https://accounts.www.umich.edu/create/alumniassoc/ link.
3. Alumni are then asked to provide this information:
   • Full name
   • Current e-mail address
   • Gender
   • Date of Birth
   • Year of first U-M degree
   • One of the following: Alumni ID (10-digit number found on mailing label), UMID (found on U-M ID card), or last four digits of Social Security number.

4. As part of the process, alumni can enter an e-mail address to which they want their @umich.edu mail forwarded.
